The Story
Kok Chang was established in 1980, well known as the ‘Sotong Family’ in Pangkor Island, Malaysia. Throughout these years, we take pride in using the traditional method alongside with a strict hygiene control to produce our products with only fresh cuttlefish. Kok Chang is specialized in producing a wide variety of cuttlefish snacks such as spicy cuttlefish, cuttlefish fillets, chili cuttlefish and many more others choices for you to choose from. In addition, we use fine and delicate packaging for our products, making it more suitable to be bought as souvenirs for your friends and family.
Our Founder
Our founder is Mr. Mah Kok Chang, who was born in a beautiful island named Pangkor Island off Perak, Malaysia. Since he was young when he was helping out with his family fishing business, he had already developed an ambition to promote the food culture of Pangkor Island to the eye of the world. With such enthusiasm, Mr Mah set up a factory in 1978, to produce a popular snack which has now became the specialty of Pangkor Island – the Satay Fish. The factory later came out with producing more and more different type of snacks.

Our highest aim is to always bring more variety and delicious cuttlefish snacks to our customers. With this objective, we take to heart in every single steps of processing, from procurement of raw materials to manufacturing of products. We will not stop striving for innovation and continuous improvement to achieve our goal.
